The Idea
Disapparate: "Spell to disappear in one place and appear in elsewhere then."
AAfter almost a year living in Dublin, Ireland, the visa was about to expire and it was time to decide whether to renew the visa and stayed for over eight months, decide to go to another country to get fresh air or return to Brazil.
None of the three options were making me happy and confident completely. When then I was introduced to the book "Portas Abertas", Aline Campbell, who tells the story of her for 3 months in Europe, without any money, only with the passage of return.
Since none of my choices so far makes me really confident of success, I decided that I would not change for any country immediately. I decided that I will spend the period of tourism as we Brazilians have the right, three months, to travel around Europe without defined script. Going according to the will of the moment, and your help.
Unlike Aline, my idea is not to go without any money, but with a limited reserve WELL, AND EVEN rs, that will not allow me to catch the plane to travel between the countries, nor place for lodging. I try to use the most of Couchsurfing and also will use this journey to restore faith and hope in people, and to prove to myself that there are yes people of great heart and willing to help each other.
During this trip, my private social networks are disabled, so I can disconnect me of what happens far and focus my energies just on this trip and meet the greatest number of people possible, in as many places as possible. I created a page on Facebook and Instagram (top right of the page) to share some of my journey with you.
I will use this page to me develop and continue studying the creation of pages and web systems, and it will try to add many features to it, but the main, is a map where you can know where I find myself at the time, or at least day. Then it's possible that the same may be unstable, because I'll be at the same time studying and trying changes during this period.
At the end of the trip in mid-July, I plan to do volunteer work in Africa or Asia. I am still in touch with the staff of NGOs and as for hitting the project will updating.
After this job, I'll be back to "Cidade Maravilhosa", Rio de Janeiro and invite everyone to spend my birthday with me.
I would like to thank all the attention, hugs and be with God.
Finally, I would like to leave a poem by my favorite author, Charles Bukowski, reflecting the moment I am going through now: "If you're going to try, go all the way. Otherwise, don't even start. Go. All. The way. This could mean losing girlfriends, wives, relatives and maybe even your mind. Go all the way. It could mean not eating for three or four days. It could mean freezing on a park bench. It could mean jail. It could mean derision. It could mean mockery--isolation. Isolation is the gift. All the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it. And, you'll do it, despite rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine. If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is."
